Grateful thanks

We are so grateful to Mrs Jeanne Randle, retired Head-librarian at Fraser-Hickson Library who’s articles on NDG’S main streets, started us on a search for the history of our ward. We hope that you will as well open your eyes and see all sorts of bits and pieces of history that remain still around us, old buildings, street names… So thank you so much Mrs Randle for sharing so enthusiastically those little pearls with NDG residents.

Many thanks also to Mr Fernando Montserrat, Reference Librarian at Fraser-Hickson Library, who put together, with the help of David Hanna, a wonderful collection of pictures of yesterday’s and today’s NDG. Mr Montserrat generously allowed us to share this wonderful collection with the residents of NDG. The Fraser-Hickson Photo Collection was first shown to commemorate the Centennial of the Fraser-Hickson Library Foundation.
